Bekas first recital was incredible....She pulled it off without a glitch!! I'm so proud of her and what she's accomplished!
Here are a couple pictures. I have more that i'll post when I pull them off of my camera. My clogging class danced to Giddy-on-up by Laura Bell Bundy. She's amaaazing, and if you've seen the music video you'll understand the chaps and leather ;) If you haven't seen the video go watch it!!! It's sooo cute :)

2 Down, Forever to go.....Georgia on my mind.

Last weekend Brad & I celebrated our second anniversary! It's hard to believe it's already been 2 years since our wedding! Brad & I usually have a hard time trying to agree on vacation spots. I've always traveled, so long distances are normal vacations to me. I used to spend summers in a camper, while Daddy drove us all over the United States. Brad isn't what I would call a lover of long drives. He wants to get to the destination and start vacation, while i'm getting all excited about what we might see on the way...My Mommas voice will forever ring in my ears "Girls, look out the window! You might miss something!"

If I had a dime for every time I heard that!

Brad & I finally agreed on Savannah, GA. We had both been before with our families, but now we're all grown up (most days) so we wanted to give it another go ;) I'm a planner, so I immediately booked a hotel, found good dinner spots, and scoped out the shopping! We arrived at our Hotel & it was unbelievable. We stayed at the Mansion in Forsythe Park. It's amazing! I would definitely recommend it! Our room was spic & span, the service was excellent, it wasn't a horrible walk to River Street, and Forsythe Park is out of a movie...It's gorgeous! :) We had dinner at a few good places, but River Street Seafood was my favorite...the calamari...oh my word! Heaven should serve calamari from River Street Seafood! So very good. It wasn't overcooked , and it was served with bananna peppers which gave it amazing flavor. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!

River Street was soooo busy, but really fun. Our anniversary is March 15th which we all know is 2 days before St. Patrick's Day. Anybody wan't to try and guess where the second largest St. Patrick's Day celebration in the country takes place?? No? Ok well let me just tell you! SAVANNAH, GA! The river was green, the people were CRAZY, but it was all so entertaining and festive. We had a blast...There was a parade, and kilts, and bagpipes....I loved it!

Here are some pictures....You guys should really try out Savannah....maybe not close to St. Patrick's Day, but sometime....

Outside our window

This red alligator chair totally wanted to get in my suitcase....Brad said "No"

This headboard wanted nothing more than to go with the chair...Brad said "You're crazy"

Brad said yes to the River Queen!!...& 2 years ago I said "YES" to him....Lucky Boy ;)

Alpaca Obsession..Maybe we need a support group ;)

Several years ago I was out at the Spirit of the Suwanne for an event. Beka & I were on our way to somewhere...(I can't exactly re-call where we were headed, but it was important i'm sure)....Anyhow, on our way I spotted what I thought were llamas...turns out they were Alpaca's! I fell in love...I ran and fetched Brad and showed him, and he was none too impressed...especially when I said I wanted one. You see we have a town house, and i think it would be close quarters. Then I suggested it live at Daddy's house, but Daddy didn't like that plan. So all these years I have loved, yet lived without an Alpaca. Beka & Jennifer J. are quite aware of my obsession, and they are nice enough to humor me. When I found out that the Spirit of the Suwannee was having an Alpaca Show of course I had to go!! Beka & Jenn were there because they've grown to share my fondness for the cuties, and Krista....poor Krista...She's just friends with us wierdos so she came to see how crazy people spend their days ;) Enjoy the pictures!!

Me & this guy were having a serious discussion about him coming to live with me.

TWINS :)

"Hey guys, look!! I got my ears did for the big show! Like my curls?"

He was really checking Jenn out ;)

This is Sam - he knows approximately 50 commands!...& he needs braces.

2010!! Seriously?? I've been out of high school for 10 years?

I am old!! Those are really the only 3 words that belong in this post because I need to sit here and reflect.

How did 10 years go by so quickly?

Why do I still feel like i'm a young'un?

This isn't fair!!!...

Ok now that I got that out, i'll continue. After reflecting on my age....Brad & I went out to the Spirit of the Suwannee with some friends to see a band play. It was a good time :) We had dinner, cooked oysters, listened to good music, and spent some quality time with good people. The rest of the night went like this.......5, 4, 3, 2, 1, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! GOODNIGHT!!! I'm old remember?...I had to go to bed ;)
